Bill Motley is a native of Denver, Colorado and currently lives in the Jackson Hole area.
As a financial consultant for more than 22 years, Bill has promoted entrepreneurism and personal financial improvement – principally among citizens seeking business independence, further development of their skills or trade and higher financial rewards.
For several years, he has volunteered time to government agencies that support National Parks and wildlife activities.
From 1996-2013 he was the President of Highland Strategies LTD. (HSL)
HSL specialized in the development of rural financial and banking alternatives –mainly focusing in the areas of organizational alternatives, management, business planning, financial objectives, product development, marketing and financial results.
From 1976-1996 he served as the Senior Vice President of CoBank-The National Bank for Cooperatives. He managed the Corporate Banking Division with responsibility for the highest profile accounts. He was responsible for the bank’s syndication, participation and agency relationships.
As Vice President for Colorado National Bank he was responsible for the development of the bank’s Corporate Accounts portfolio in the Western U.S. He was responsible for the education, training and development of new bank loan officers. Manager of the bank’s Credit Department for three years. Taught classes related to business and financial management.
Most of his development work was focused as teacher and advisor for citizens in former Soviet countries – including Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova and Georgia.
